Weddings are big in Bollywood movies but what can be even bigger than weddings in the movies? Yes we are talking about the weddings of our favourite Bollywood stars which are nothing less than royal for us. In 2018 we saw many of our beloved Bollywood celebrities tying the knot and when all eyes were on them, the stars didn’t disappoint and gave us the best wedding looks we had ever seen. If you are getting married soon or are simply looking for bridal wear inspirations then look no more because this is the ultimate bridal look book inspired by the beautiful divas of Bollywood.

Anushka Sharma

All eyes were on Anushka when she finally tied the knot with long time boyfriend and cricketer Virat Kohli in Italy. Anushka wore a pastel pink Sabyasachi lehenga with detailed flower embroidery. Her makeup was kept natural with mostly nude shades which complimented the blush pink attire. After her wedding, pastel lehengas became the next big thing and brides got more inclined to such hues in lehengas for their big day. Anushka simply rocked the look and it became a Sabyasachi staple for its fresh style and less traditional colour palette.

Priyanka Chopra:

How can we talk about wedding looks and not mention the queen of fashion miss Priyanka Chopra? PC had her two fantasy weddings with an Indian and a Christian ceremony and it was obviously a whole event with the best part being the two different outfits. She wore a sequined dark red lehenga to her Indian ceremony and was spotted in a beautiful white caped gown for the Christian wedding. The gown simply smashed it out of the park and was absolutely stunning and it obviously had a wow factor which was the huge cape. Priyanka carried off both looks with perfection.

Deepika Padukone:

Deepika Padukone is one of the most beautiful women in the country and her choice of films in her career has given her a chance of wearing royal and regal looks for years, this is why it was exciting to see what she would wear to her big day and she didn’t disappoint her fans. Having two ceremonies, Deepika wore two completely different looks and while both were great we would like to mention the Konkani saree look. The saree was so rich and unique that it made Deepika look ravishing in the copper-ish shade. While the other red lehenga was a Sabyasachi design, the Konkani saree took our hearts.

Neha Dhupia

Another B-town actress who got married recently and went for a softer shade of Pink in her outfit was Neha Dhupia who was spotted wearing a bridal lehenga by the successful Indian designer Anita Dongre. The lehenga was more on the simple side and had a dewey look to it which was perfect seeing how it was a day time wedding at a Gurudwara. The lehenga was not just beautiful but a smart choice too as it looked fairly light for a bridal lehenga. This shows that brides don’t need to wear the heaviest outfit to their wedding and can opt for a light weight and elegant option.
