In the movie, Anushka had a whole wedding and therefore there were some amazing outfits and looks designed by great designers including the maestro Manish Malhotra. Her wedding bridal lehenga was probably one of the most stunning lehengas we have seen in a long time and the gold colour just made it so unique and royal. Seeing how amazing she looked in that sequence, it is understandable why Ranbir sang Channa mereya for her!

Ye Jawani hai deewani

This movie brought the idea of destination weddings to the mainstream and was such a big hit. Everything about the movie spoke to the youth and so did the fashion. Who can forget the blue Badtameez Dil saree and Kalki’s velvety red lehenga was also amazing. The movie also showed some great male fashion and was simply chic and classy. Ranbir Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor both had some nice sherwani and jurta moments which were simply a treat to watch.

Veere di Wedding

Another movie that was based on a modern day wedding and we got to see some unique as well as high fashion looks was the Rhea Kapoor directed film ‘Veere di wedding’ that brought female friendships to the forefront. Kareena Kapoor who played the bride in the film had some really chic outfits that were simply unique 9secially her bridal lehenga) and all the other girls looked stunning as well. Overall, it was basically a movie with some great fashion moments and a Little bit of story here and there.

Kabhi Khushi kabhi gham

When it comes to wedding glam, Karan Johar’s movies are bound to be on the list as weddings play a big role in his films. KKKG is a classic Karan Johar film with some iconic fashion moments featuring the talent of Manish Malhotra and the song ‘Bole Choodiyaan’ in itself is a great example of some great wedding outfits which were extremely glamorous. Kareena’s sharara, Rani’s lehenga and Kajol’s chiffon sarees were simply gorgeous along with Hritik and SRK’s Cream kurtas in the song. Undoubtedly, the fashion of the movie was evergreen as even after years these outfits have not gone out of style.
