With the Oscars that were held last week, the award season has finally come to an end with a bang. The Academy Awards, 2020 were a complete star studded event like every year and we got to see some of the best looks we have seen in the award season this year as well as best Oscar looks of all time and so here is a list of some of the best dressed celebrities from the red carpet to the biggest film awards of the year.
Scarlett Johansson
Scar Jo has had a long award season and has brought her A-game throughout. However, it seems like she was saving the best look for the end as she looked absolutely ethereal at the academy awards. This was her best look of this season and we are still in awe. The silver silk gown was by Oscar de la Renta gown with embellishments of stringed gems over the partly sheer bodice.
Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron ended the award season in a classic Black gown that looked perfect on her and was definitely her best outfit of this season. She may not have won many awards this year but she definitely showed up at the Oscars looking like a million bucks and slayed the red carpet with her confidence and grace. She wore Dior Haute Couture and Tiffany & Co. jewellery that looked perfect on her.
Renee Zellwegger
As one of the winners of the night, Renee Zellweger picked up her Oscar in a sequined white one shoulder Armani prive gown and looked absolutely perfect. After a successful award season in terms of her accolades and fashion choices, she chose to end the whole charade with a super classy and sophisticated choice that flaunted her stunning figure.
Lily Aldridge
Another look that caught our eye from the Oscars was Lily Aldridge in a classic white gown with a red flower. Lily chose to wear an archive Ralph Lauren dress, Jimmy Choo heels, and Bvlgari jewelry to go with the whole look. The model was there as a host on the red carpet and left everyone stunned with her gorgeous ensemble.
Roony Mara
It is true that when in doubt, one should go with black as it is the most stunning and classic colour that can save the day every time. Roony Mara chose to wear black to the Oscars this year where she accompanied her partner Joaquin Phoenix who won the best actor award that evening. Mara is known for her love of Black gowns and so this time was no exception as she wore a custom Alexander McQueen gown with a lacy cut out front which was very unique.
Brie Larson
Academy award winning actress brie Larson showed up to this year’s Oscars in a champagne coloured gown with a slit at the bottom, a cape at the back and sparkle all over it. The actress looked ravishing in the gown and the fit was gorgeous. The amazing cape dress was from the label Celine by Hedi Slimane and Bulgari jewellery. She came on stage as a presenter that evening along with two other beautiful women and fellow female superheroes.
