When it comes to the horror genre, Stephen King is one name we just can’t leave out. He has been giving us chills with his horror stories for years and one of his most famous works is ‘IT’. The tale of a murderous clown that has been haunting us for years now. Originally the terrifying novel was adapted into a mini-series but, recently it was remade into a movie which just got a sequel too. Watch this series with your friends and have a scary movie night.

Based on the novel by the loved children’s author Roald Dahl the story follows a young boy turned mouse who must defeat a coven of witches planning to instill a similar fate on the children of Britain. Even though it is a children’s story but has dark and unsettling themes that make it an adult watch. So watch this movie if you are in for a light horror and fun film and experience the magic of Halloween.
4. The Conjuring series:
If you are a fan of horror then this series is made for you. With around 5 movies including spinoffs and prequels, this is a series for hardcore horror lovers. The conjuring series has a huge fan base around the world and a whole cinematic universe as well. The stories are loosely based on true events which makes t=it even more terrifying to watch.
5. Rosemary’s Baby:
With a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes this movie has all the elements for a great horror film. Following the life of a couple through their first pregnancy. This movie is so terrifying that it might make you never want to have children in your life! Polanski’s vision and the ability of the actors really brings the suspense of the novel to the big screen. It is a very unsettling film and may even haunt you for days so be prepared to be terrified with this one.
