Many of us grew up reading and watching the Harry Potter series and proudly call ourselves the Potter generation. The books and the movies played a huge role in our lives and taught people a lot of moral values along with a belief in magic. The last Harry Potter book was released in the year 2007 which means it ended more than a decade ago and the last movie came out in 2011. All Potterheads must agree that we as a fandom have been lucky to get some great movies in this franchise and some amazing actors who played our favourite characters with so much dedication. The younger actors from the series got the most recognition and fame that has stayed even after the series ended as their characters live on in the hearts of all Potterheads.
The cast of the Harry Potter films has been inspiring the fans since the series ended years ago and their career paths have shown how talented they are. Emma Watson is probably the most loved and successful of the lot and in the past few years she has proved that she really is the real life version of Hermione Granger. Watson has not only given several hit films but has more importantly stood up for social causes and given her voice to issues that needed to be brought forward. As a UN ambassador she has represented the voice of the youth at an international platform and has also managed a successful film career. She has been active on Instagram as well and often posts stuff from her professional as well as private life. She recently posted a group picture and surprised the Potter fans worldwide.
Recently, some of the old cast members of the Harry Potter films got together and simply gave their fans a great Christmas gift, a reunion. This reunion included the lovely Emma Watson, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom). They posted a picture on Instagram and the fans obviously went crazy with the unexpected surprise. It was a group picture with all of them and was reposted again by Tom and Evanna as well. It has been many years since the filming of the series ended and yet many of the cast members have stayed friends and whenever they post a picture or meet, it makes the fans feel as if they are back at Hogwarts and their childhood. Tom Felton posted the picture with the caption “Seasons greetings from my school mates. @mattdavelewis & I mid debate x #gryfindorVSslytherin,”. He posted another picture where he and Matt look like they are in the mid of a conversation. Emma Watson posted the picture with the caption “Merry Christmas from us”.
Emma has been a part of the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Little Women’ directed by Greta Gerwig and there is an amazing ensemble cast in it. The movie comes out on 25th of December worldwide making it the biggest Christmas gift for all the fans.
